A captivating painting that draws inspiration from the famous World War I poem by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae which honors the soldiers who lost their lives in the war. The poppies, which grew amidst the graves of fallen soldiers in Flanders, Belgium, have since become a symbol of remembrance and resilience.
